EFC was started specifically to cater for the Electrical Machinery Regulations that were published in Government Gazette No. 34154 on 25th March 2011 and came into effect on 1st October 2012. Regulations 12 and 13 deal with Electric Fences and the issuing of Electric Fence System Certificates. ( view details by clicking on the Compliance tab of this site ). In light of the fact that the vast majority of installations pre October 2012 do not meet the requirements laid down in the new regulations, EFC set about identifying reputable installation companies, capable of performing compliant installations, to partner with us. These installation companies and their installers have been accredited by EFC to perform the necessary remedial work to render existing installations compliant. By partnering with and accrediting existing installation companies, we have a larger national footprint and network, which allows us to offer our services to property management companies, facilities management organisations, estate agents and attorneys involved in the transfer of property throughout the major centres in South Africa. This strategy allows us to cater to a number of security requirements and our partnerships have evolved to include a host of other services related to the security industry.
Our on-going efforts to source and partner with reliable, efficient and above all competent installation companies across the entire range of services means that we are able to harness the combined buying power of a national organisation. This ultimately benefits our clients and partners through volume discounts that are passed on to the clients, making us extremely competitive in the industry.
